Posted on 28 Nov 2017

Seven new IZ-KARTEX shovels started working in mining enterprises in Russia and CIS countries in the summer and autumn of 2017. In addition, in the rest of the world, from August 3, 2017 to October 2, 2017 four EKG-10 shovels made by IZ-KARTEX started working in India. The contractor DDPN with the participation of IZ-KARTEX performed the installation.

The Russian machines include an EKG-10 and EKG-15M were commissioned at JSC Almalyk MMC in Uzbekistan on August 1, 2017 and October 11, 2017, respectively. On October 26, 2017 at JSC Karelsky Okatysh, an EKG-20KM shovel started working and is the fourth of this model which was delivered to Karelsky Okatysh. The shovels were installed by the IZ-KARTEX official distributor and service partner, LLC Gormashservice.

An IZ-KARTEX EKG-32R shovel also recently set a new record at the coal mine of JSC Mezhdurech’e – 901,000 cubic metres of mined rock in a month. It was achieved thanks to the hard work of the shovel operators’ team and increasing the availability of dump trucks for loading. The daily productivity of the shovel has averaged 30,000 cubic metres.

“The EKG-32R shovel is distinguished by high technical characteristics, energy efficiency, a possibility of operation at a temperature up to -45°C and also the sufficient level of safety for the driver, service staff and for the environment.” The EKG-32R in question is No 3, which was commissioned at JSC Mezhdurech’e on November 30, 2016. The regional service company OMZ Sibir Service performed the installation. Now three EKG-32R shovels are working in Russia. The other two are working at the Krasnobrodsky coal mine of Kuzbassrazrezugol.
