Kalle Kuusento, CEO says industry growth led to a busy year for Doofor in 2017. “The mining and construction industry has invigorated, and we have been happy to witness our customer’s success in their business. This year Doofor has delivered remarkably more rock drills than a year before. Therefore, our business revenue increased +30%. We look forward to growth and continuance in open world trade to enhance investment benefits in economy and technology globally.”

Doofor has been concentrating on product development as well. The new hydraulic rock drill model in the 25 kW size class for T45 / T51 drill steels will be launched in early spring.

This year was a special one for Doofor Inc. The family-owned company is celebrating its 30th year in business. Doofor was established in 1987 as a subcontracting and manufacturing consultancy company and transformed into a hydraulic rock drill manufacturer in 1993. “By constant product development and commitment to the business, Doofor supplies hydraulic rock drills to six continents to some OEM and retrofit customers today.

“Currently we are extending the production capacity by enlarging our premises approximately twice as big. In future, along with the innovative product development, we can enhance assembly. In 2018, Doofor will continue providing not only premium drifters but also faster deliveries, quicker product updates and enhanced customer support to represent the best business partner to our customers”, explains Kuusento.
