The impact of surface disturbance in exploration at Thor

Taranis Resources reports that it is often asked about the impact that mining exploration can have on the environment. ”As part of our continuing program to be conscious of our footprint and responsibly develop our Thor project in British Columbia, Taranis has completed an in-depth study of existing land disturbance resulting from exploration, mining, forestry, recreational use and other factors.

”Taranis acquired the Thor project in 2006. Since then, Taranis has been responsible for less than 1% of the total land disturbance in the area – and we have grown the known size of the deposit by over 3,100%!

”This was achieved as a result of efficient use of pre-existing roads and trails on the project and mindful environmental management. We are proud to say that our company is becoming a leader in the Canadian Resource sector for responsible, sustainable mining!
