Phoenix extends mine lighting offer with Bright Light Systems acquisition

Phoenix Lighting, a portfolio company of JMC Capital Partners, has announced the acquisition of Bright Light Systems Inc, a Georgia-based company it says “with a strong product line, a well-developed lighting controls system and numerous installations worldwide.”

Bright Light Systems describes its market position as a company “that integrates advanced LED lighting technology with wireless control capabilities and an energy management platform to provide up to 80% energy savings to customers in the high-mast lighting market. Our Bright Light Management System is a cloud-based asset management, monitoring, and reporting interface that provides unprecedented control for enterprise lighting operations enhancing productivity, safety, and security.”

Phoenix is a leader in industrial, rugged lighting. “This acquisition strengthens the capabilities of Phoenix to support its customers. With expanded in-house expertise, Phoenix can combine its lighting products with a specialised lighting control and monitoring system to bring superior efficiency and performance.
