Meglab is now a certified centre for extremely high-quality mining cable repairs. The first in Canada to receive this certification, Meglab becomes the only Nexans AmerCable certified service centre in the country.

In the mining environment, cables must be long lasting and maintain their flexibility. Using reliable & durable repair techniques, certified technicians can repair the insulation, the shield, the conductors and the grounding of the cables, in order to restore their original properties. “We have been offering a cable repair service for several years either at our shop or on site. We repair and extend GGC and SHD-GC trailing cables of all capacities and lengths, which come from our customers; more often between 45 and 100 m in length, and even exceeding 1,500 m. This certification is a big plus for our team, recognising the quality of our technicians and it should serve to reassure users,” said Louis Valade, President of Meglab
