FAM recently made a strategic decision towards an investment into the CIS market, including Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The process to open a new office in Moscow, Russia, is part of its internal organic growth strategy. The new company FAM CIS will be the headquarters for the CIS region. With this important strategic step, FAM says it is able to further support the entire market and existing customers located in the CIS region.
The new office will be represented by Guido Hesse and Alexander Gaidaenko,who both joined FAM Group recently and bringing in long-standing history in the mining, materials handling and service industry in Russia and CIS region. Major FAM in-pit crushing & conveying installations in the CIS can be found at the Vostochny coal mine in Kazakhstan and the Angren coal operation in Uzbekistan amongst other locations.
