Ground Force acquires metal extraction support equipment company TowHaul

Ground Force Worldwide, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, has announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all the assets and operations of TowHaul Corporation.

Located in Belgrade, Montana, USA, TowHaul has been designing and manufacturing heavy-duty, off-road specialty metal extraction support equipment, including its signature front- and rear-loading lowboy trailers, for over 40 years.

With customers in more than 70 countries, Ground Force calls itself a leading designer and manufacturer of specialty material handling vehicles that support the extraction of metals, with its current product portfolio including fuel and lube trucks, water trucks, dump bodies and rock spreaders.

“It is an honour and a privilege to have the opportunity to combine two world-class brands, TowHaul and Ground Force, leverage their unique strengths and capabilities and deliver a comprehensive suite of products and services to our shared customers,” Luke Stavros, President, Ground Force & TowHaul, said. “We expect TowHaul and Ground Force to strongly complement each other in the marketplace, and jointly execute on a number of synergistic growth opportunities.”

TowHaul will be marketed and distributed under the Ground Force portfolio going forward.
