The Electric Mine heading to Perth in 2024

Still on a high from a sell-out Electric Mine 2023 event in Tucson, Arizona, International Mining Events is not standing still with the world’s only global and fastest growing mine electrification event. We are already making public our plans to head to Australia for Electric Mine 2024 – which will be held at the Crown Hotel Complex in Perth, Western Australia, from May 21-23, 2024.

Leveraging our experience from holding three successful events to date (Toronto, 2019; Stockholm, 2022; and Tucson, 2023), The Electric Mine 2024 will be even more connected to the electrification ecosystem shaping the future of mining. We will leverage our contacts across the space to bring the biggest stories to the widest audience possible.

Perth was an obvious location. It hosts the headquarters and major global offices for many of the world’s top mining companies and contractors as well as major facilities for technology leaders, OEMs and their dealers. It is also situated relatively close (by Australian standards) to the major Pilbara iron ore mining hub where many of the world’s first ultra-class battery haul trucks are set to be tested, plus is in proximity to the Goldfields region where the largest underground battery units are proving themselves.

The Crown Hotel Complex, Perth, Western Australia

We have garnered support from the WA State government through Business Events Perth to hold this standout event in the Western Australian capital and will be making sure the content and attendee list is as global as can be, while at the same time having a very strong representation from the Australian industry and the surrounding regions, including southeast Asia.

With detailed concurrent sessions on surface and underground mining, and this time fully integrating topics like in-pit crushing and conveying, it will be easier than ever to navigate the world-class line-up of presentations set to take to the Crown stage.

We will also have more panel sessions than previous years to encourage further thought leadership discussion around electrification solutions and get to the bottom of what is required to make the leap to net-zero operations. Attendees will be aided by a new and improved app, while they will have more opportunities than ever to network and connect with peers in the mine electrification space.

Having set the bar high with more than 730 registered attendees for The Electric Mine 2023, the next event with have a firm focus on technical presentations around specific projects and solutions.

Registration will open for this event soon, with sponsorship packages currently being finalised. For more information about the event, please contact [email protected] and checkout the website www.theelectricmine.com
