RPMGlobal, Scope Systems team up to improve inventory management

Posted on 13 Jan 2025

RPMGlobal (RPM) and Scope Systems have partnered to deliver RPM’s inventory management solution, IMAFS, to Scope Systems’ global customer base.

Scope Systems are, RPM says, leaders in providing end-to-end business software solutions across the globe, specialising in delivering ERP software and business intelligence solutions to the mining and resources sectors.

IMAFS is a cutting-edge, cloud delivered, AI-based inventory management and forecasting software solution that connects to an organisation’s ERP.

Under the partnership, RPM’s IMAFS solution will be supplied, deployed and supported by Scope Systems globally. Scope Systems ERP customers can now add a world-class inventory management solution to their solution stack.

Michael Baldwin, RPMGlobal’s Chief Commercial Officer, says the collaboration between RPM and Scope Systems will deliver a step change to the way their clients manage their inventories of spare parts and consumables.

“By optimising inventory holdings, especially critical components and spare parts, customers are able to free up working capital that might otherwise be tied up in excess inventories, as well as ensuring sufficient critical spare parts are on hand when needed, minimising downtime and production losses that might have otherwise occurred,” he said.

Integrating IMAFS into Scope Systems’ ERP solution will provide customers with a robust inventory optimisation solution that delivers real-time insights, accurate forecasting and enhanced decision-making capabilities, the companies claim. IMAFS enables organisations to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce waste and minimise downtime, ensuring that the right items are available when needed.

CEO of Scope Systems, Mark Bogos, stated, “We see organisations with millions of dollars of inventory sitting idly in their warehouses. IMAFS will optimise that inventory holding so the capital can be used better elsewhere across the business. The AI capability of IMAFS’ advanced forecasting algorithms is better able to predict future inventory needs with greater precision. We are excited about the opportunity this partnership offers to our customers.”

Scope Systems will offer IMAFS as a scalable solution tailored to the unique needs of each customer, from small projects to large-scale enterprises, ensuring that companies can adapt quickly to changing market conditions.

Baldwin added: “Partnering with Scope Systems allows us to extend our reach and deliver even greater value to mining companies and beyond.”

Bogos concluded: “The integration of IMAFS into our portfolio will empower our customers to manage their inventory with greater efficiency and accuracy, ultimately driving better business outcomes.”
