Metso inaugurates new screen centre in Johannesburg

Metso has celebrated the inauguration of its new screen centre in Germiston, Johannesburg, South Africa, on January 16 with customers and other key stakeholders. The new facility developed on an assembly test and paint basis will significantly increase Metso’s supply and delivery capabilities of screening solutions.

Ian Barnard, President, Metso Africa market area, said: “Global technologies adapted for local manufacturing will provide competitive screening solutions for our African customers ensuring the best-in-class return on investment. Our aim is to keep the customer in the centre with a complete screening solution right on the customers doorstep.”

To do this we have added skilled personnel in engineering, sourcing, key account management and technical support.
