Schlam, a global leader in load and haul attachments for the mining industry, in collaboration with Longyan Ruihua Tongyong Machinery Co Ltd, has announced the production of the 100th Hercules mining truck bed at its manufacturing facility in Longyan, Fujian Province, China.

Schlam is renowned for engineering high-performance mining truck beds and buckets for leading Tier 1 miners worldwide. Since the first Hercules mining truck bed was built in Australia in 2003, the Hercules bed has been deployed across diverse mining environments – from Australia’s deserts to Kazakhstan’s plains – Schlam says consistently enhancing payload efficiency and productivity.

With over 2,500 truck beds produced to date – primarily in Australia – the growing global
demand for Hercules has also driven Schlam’s strategic expansion into international markets. All Hercules truck beds manufactured in China are produced by Longyan Ruihua Tongyong Machinery Co Ltd at a state-of-the-art facility.

Schlam adds: “This strategic partnership allows mining operations across Asia, Africa, and beyond to access Schlam’s industry-leading products from a facility positioned closer to key mining regions, while maintaining world-class standards in quality, innovation, and efficiency.”

To commemorate this significant milestone, a celebration event was held on March 28, 2025,
at the Longyan Ruihua Tongyong Machinery facility, with guests including government
officials, key customers and suppliers.
