LOVOL Heavy Industry, a company 60% owned by engine conglomerate Weichai, recently delivered its first FR2000F mining excavator to an open-pit mining customer in China.
The model has a total machine weight of 212 t and is equipped with a Weichai 12M33 low-speed, high-torque fully electronically controlled engine, featuring quad-turbocharging technology and an advanced modular common rail fuel system, offering high fuel economy and strong and stable power output.
LOVOL Heavy Industry has the advantage via ownership by Weichai of access to its high performance engine range but also hydraulic systems, as Weichai also owns LHY Powertrain – the former Linde Hydraulics.
The excavator’s water and oil dissipation systems use independent cooling systems, allowing real-time precise adjustment of cooling pump displacement and fan speed based on temperature, effectively achieving energy saving and consumption reduction, ensuring stable operation of equipment under long-term high-load operation.
It has a bucket capacity of 12m3 and bucket digging force of 768 kN. with a maximum digging height of 14,274 mm, dumping height maximum of 9,661 kN and maximum digging depth of 8,120 mm.
