SME MINEXCHANGE organisers put call out for 2027 speakers

Posted on 24 Jun 2026

Each year at SME’s annual MINEXCHANGE conference and exhibition, a diverse array of international experts from operations, academia and beyond come together to deliver an unrivaled technical program featuring the latest knowledge covering all aspects of mining.

Organisers are now urging stakeholders to join the leaders moving the industry forward by submitting a 100-word abstract online by August 1, 2026.

Areas of interest include bulk material handling, coal and energy, environmental, geology, valuation, tailings, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, industrial minerals and aggregates, mineral and metallurgical processing, and exploration. However, the program committee will consider abstracts covering any/all topics pertaining to the mining and minerals industry. As is SME’s practice, abstracts should cover timely, innovative and immediately useful information, practice, and developments important for competitive and effective operations.

“Submitting a quality abstract is your best opportunity to play a key role in shaping the world-class technical program at our flagship event,” Tara Davis, SME Content Development and Program Director, says. “We look forward to your contributions, which will make an impact on the thousands of attendees looking to advance their knowledge and professional development.”

MINEXCHANGE 2027 will take place from February 28-March 3, 2027, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. Head to the website to submit your abstract.
