Western Australian mining equipment manufacturer Allight has reached a major production milestone, completing its 16,000th MineSpec lighting tower at the company’s Landsdale facility in Western Australia.

The milestone highlights the long-standing role MineSpec lighting towers have played across the resources sector in Australia and around the world, where they are used in some of the most demanding mining environments.

Tower number 16,000 is a MineSpec Gen3, designed and produced in Western Australia. The unit will be supplied through Mantrac Delta to Engineers & Planners for deployment at a major mining operation in Ghana.

Allight CEO Nathan Hart said the milestone reflected decades of product development, local capability and customer trust. “Producing our 16,000th MineSpec lighting tower is an achievement our entire team can be incredibly proud of. It reflects the strength of the MineSpec range and the confidence mining customers have placed in Allight equipment to perform reliably in some of the toughest operating environments.”

Developed specifically for mining applications, the MineSpec range has built a strong reputation for reliability, lighting performance, safety and operating efficiency. Hart said the milestone also demonstrated the reach of Australian-designed and manufactured mining equipment.

Allight continues to develop the MineSpec platform in response to evolving mine-site requirements, with ongoing improvements focused on safety, lighting performance, reliability and whole-of-life operating efficiency.
