Robit has launched its latest line of innovative drilling products with the announcement of Robit® H18, a new member of the H-series down-the-hole (DTH) hammer family.

The hammer follows the same principles as have been seen in previous H series product launches, combining modularity with performance, the company says.

Key features of the Robit® H18 hammer highlighted by Robit include:

• An up to 25% increase in power output;
• Up to 25% lower air consumption;
• Footvalved (attached) and footvalvess (to be launched later) designs both available; and
• Ability to tune the hammer for smaller air package.

The Robit H18 is an 18 in DTH hammer replacing the Robit Hyper 181 series, which, the company says, has been succesfully applied in large DTH hammers around the world.
