Visitors to the Enerpac stand at this year’s bauma event, in Munich, Germany, will have the chance to experience at first hand the benefits that Enerpac can bring to their mining operations, the company says.
On its largest ever stand at bauma, Enerpac will operate nine demonstrations including a 600 ton (544 t) capacity, Self-Propelled Electric Transporter working in conjunction with an Enerpac hydraulic gantry, and many new tools for assisting with equipment moves and maintenance. An updated wireless gantry controller will also be previewed.
In addition to the Enerpac Self-Propelled Electric Transporter, other demonstrations will include excavator maintenance with Enerpac SCJ-Series Cube Jacks, along with bucket pin removal using the Enerpac PPH-Series Hydraulic Pin Puller.
For many on-site lifting moves, Enerpac hydraulic systems are the benchmark for ease of use and safety, it says. In addition to the ML40 hydraulic telescopic gantry, the stand includes the larger capacity 600 ton Enerpac SBL600 Super Boom Lift hydraulic gantry. Easily transportable to site, both gantries provide a stable lifting platform for handling large loads during on-site equipment installations, according to the company. Enerpac is previewing its updated Enerpac C5 gantry wireless controller at bauma.
Also, on the Enerpac stand will be heavy lift Enerpac Strand Jacks for loads up to 8,500 tons, and Enerpac JS-Series Jack-up with lifting capacities up to 3,000 tons. For smaller mining projects, the 50-ton capacity SCJ-Series cube jack-up is a quicker and safer alternative to climbing jacks and cribbing systems, it says. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to see both the JS-Series jack-up and the SCJ-Series cube jack.
The ease of manoeuvring heavy machinery in the tight confines of a factory floor will be demonstrated at bauma with the Enerpac ETT-Series Turntable capable of handling loads up to 400 tons, the Enerpac EMV-Series E-mover battery powered load skate – a self-propelled skate featuring a central load bearing plate, and Enerpac LHSS-400, 400 ton capacity low-height skidding system.
A highlight of the Enerpac stand is the DTA by Enerpac Self-Propelled Electric Transporter, one of the many load moving transporters available from the recently Enerpac-acquired DTA Systems. It demonstrates the flexibility Enerpac brings to lifting and moving loads in manufacturing facilities. Using AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicles) and ARM (Automated Mobile Robotic) technologies allow transportation of loads up to 1,000 tons with millimetre precision.
The stand will feature a demonstration of excavator arm maintenance using the Enerpac SCJ-Series Cube Jacks. The cube jack lifting system offers a safer, CE-certified, approach to removing the undercarriage. It comprises two pairs of cube jacks providing coordinated hydraulic lifting of loads up to 25 tons per jack to a height of 2 m. The cube jacks support the entire cab, boom and arm while the undercarriage is maintained.
Enerpac PPH-Series Hydraulic Pin Puller provides a complete kit for removing joint pins in mining and quarrying machinery. With a pulling capacity of 40-67 t, the PPH-Series Pin Puller provides a safer and more efficient removal of joint pins up to 302-mm long. It uses a powerful, Enerpac hydraulic cylinder to extract pins with precision and minimal damage, allowing a single operator to remove a multitude of joint pin sizes easily.
The Enerpac stand will also feature a range of industrial tools drawn from Enerpac’s growing range of battery-powered pumps and torque wrenches. In addition to environmental benefits, the tools enable higher levels of operational efficiency through access to online job data and monitoring, the company claims.
For example, the Enerpac SC-Series compact, cordless battery pump allows operators to undertake larger jobs in difficult to access and remote workspaces. With the ‘Enerpac Connect’ app, SC-Series pump operators can instantly access job-specific usage data for traceability and improved precision, as well as a knowledge base of tool information. While the Enerpac XC2-Series cordless hydraulic pumps offer higher speeds, longer battery run-times and greater oil capacity, allowing larger tool and multiple cylinder applications to be undertaken on a single charge.
Raising the bar for torque wrench performance at bauma 2025 is the Enerpac BTW-Series Battery Torque Wrench. The most precise and fastest set-up battery-powered, torque wrench currently available, it allows operators to quickly move between bolting jobs, while achieving pinpoint torquing precision, thanks the most comprehensive pre-programming and calibration process of any battery torque wrench in the world, the company claims.
