Posted on 6 Mar 2025

CIM CONNECT 2025, due to take place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, in Montréal, Canada, is due to take place from May 4-7, with over 280 technical presentations, 20 panels and over 600 exhibiting companies expected.

The theme – Minerals, Innovation and the Energy Transition – spotlights Canada’s unique role in the global minerals, metals and energy landscape, organisers say. From circularity to the energy transition, CIM CONNECT 2025 will feature the latest innovations and insights transforming the minerals and energy sectors.

The organisers said: “Since we’re hosting this year’s conference in Montreal, we want to ensure that mining is accessible to all, inviting diverse perspectives and innovative ideas from our vibrant community. AI-generated transcripts and audio for simultaneous translation in session rooms will be available in French and English, making it easier for everyone to engage.”
