Global Pumps will unveil its new super-duty slurry pump at AIMEX 2013, held in Sydney from August 20-23. Global pumps will also be launching the Verderflex Dura 45 peristaltic hose pump, which has a 20% smaller footprint and delivers 25% more flow power per revolution than competitors according to Verder’s Export Manager, Duncan Brown.

The two new pumps will be showcased alongside submersible dewatering pumps from ABS, Talbo air-operated submersibles, and Techniflo sealless magnetic drive pumps and drum pumps.

Amos Seeley, Global Pumps’ Sales Consultant said “We listened to our customers voicing their biggest frustrations with existing equipment and now, after many years of research and development, we are delighted to be unveiling the world’s toughest new slurry pump for those really nasty applications.”

The new super-duty slurry pump will be unveiled with an exclusive presentation for customers from four international experts; Brad Dormer, from Argentina, will be talking about innovative ways of transferring slurry. Duncan Brown from Verder UK will present the new Verderflex Dura 45 peristaltic hose pump. For mining operators looking to pump chemicals and acids, the USA’s Manfred Klein will be talking about the world’s first fully thrust-balanced mag drive pump with the ability to handle solids. Belgium’s Daniel Jenkinson will round things off by discussing money-saving ways to reduce air consumption using a highly efficient air-operated diaphragm pump.
