Terex ADTs hauling jade rocks in Myanmar

Posted on 4 Nov 2013

Leadway Heavy Machinery, a new distributor for Terex Construction, has immediately made its mark in Myanmar by winning an order for 26 new Terex® articulated trucks (ADTs).  The trucks will operate in a jade mine in the north of Myanmar, hauling rock to the processing plant. Terex says “the TA400 machines were selected due to the return on investment they offered and their reputation for delivering in rugged and remote environments.” Leadway Heavy Machinery took delivery of the first trucks last month with the remaining machines being delivered throughout November.

John Bennett, Terex Business Manager for Asia Pacific, said, “To win a deal of this size in a new market for Terex is testament to the productivity and quality of our trucks and their reputation across South East Asia.  We are delighted to win this order, we look forward to serving our new customer and we believe it is the start of a positive future for Terex and Leadway within Myanmar.”

“Terex and Leadway Heavy Machinery are setting up a dedicated, well trained service support team together with parts and components in stock on site to ensure the best service for our customers”, said Jimmy-Chakart Seanchan, Managing Director, Leadway Heavy Machinery.
