AUPL has an opportunity for coal supply in the eastern region of India. The company is searching for experienced companies which have relevant experience. The total quantity required to be supplied is 6 Mt/y (+/- 10%) and the minimum agreement period will be for three years and thereafter the agreement will be renewed for a period of one year. The specifications of the coal required are:

•              GCV- above 4,200

•              VM-  above 18%

•              ASH- less than 30%

•              IM-  less than 5%     

•              TM-  less than 15%

AUPL says “we need imported coal whichever meets the parameter or is equivalent to Indian coal specifies here as 4200 GCV. I thereby request you (experienced companies) to send us specification of Imported coal that you have been supplying to other locations in India.
