Australia’s Loadpro Pty Ltd believes that its new X60 mining truck has significant benefits in specialised applications. The Loadpro “X60” is a complementary product to off‐highway and articulated trucks that were designed for specific applications. Key design criteria for the X60 is suitability for extended pit to port hauls up to 30 km, ability to handle steep gradients, slippery and soft ground conditions as well as deliver improved vehicle utilisation in these applications.

The X60 chassis platform and low centre of gravity are well suited for high volume bodies and service / support module increasing operational safety. Loadpro Founder and Owner Ron Schliebs says the “chassis, axles and suspension platorm offer excellent manoeuvering and flexibility in varied haul conditions with components matched for optimum performance. It has a CAT power train, components and systems.

He states that the X60 was developed in direct response to customer requirements and recognised problems and inefficiencies in applications outside of the capability of current truck alternatives. “The X60 durable robust design is well suited for off‐highway mining environments offering high availability with quick and easy servicing, repairs or component replacement.

The X60 is suitable to work as a rigid truck with a payload capacity of 60 t and a rigid dump body of 30 ‐ 68 m3. It can also be used with lube and fuel modules up to 54,000 litres, as a water tank up to 56,000 litres and as a mine transporter, Shipping of the X60 can be carried out in a 40 ft ocean container with cab chassis (less body & tyres) shipped to the desired location with quick assembly thus reducing sea and internal freight costs.
