The Asset Intensive Industry Summit will bring together leaders from across the world in mining, transport, energy, public infrastructure and defense to discuss the latest ideas, trends and developments in support of maximising the asset value chain. Speakers will include Mincom executives and product experts, industry analysts from Gartner and ARC Advisory, and executives from leading worldwide organisations such as the Australian Defence Force, Cliffs Natural Resources, Arch Coal, Western Power, P&H Mining Equipment, U-HAUL, QBuild, Energex, Eraring Energy, Tesoro and Metro Trains Melbourne.

“With more than 30 years of experience in providing business solutions to asset-intensive companies around the world, Mincom is proud to premier the first cross-industry gathering designed to address the unique needs of asset-heavy organisations,” said Jennifer Tejada, Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President, Mincom. “For those businesses with a mission-critical dependence on assets, this event is not to be missed. The summit will provide a valuable forum for industry professionals to network, discuss new ideas with peers, and get up to speed on the latest developments, trends and advice on how to stay ahead of the competition and maximise profitability, safety and compliance.”

To accommodate global attendees, the Asset Intensive Industry Summit will be held in two locations:

Asset Intensive Industry Summit – Americas October 17-20, San Diego, California and

Asset Intensive Industry Summit – APAC October 31-November 3, Gold Coast, Australia.

Also taking place at both events, Mincom will present the 2010 Innovation & Excellence in Enterprise Asset Management Awards to recognise leaders in asset-intensive industries that have solved difficult challenges and deployed innovative business solutions and management practices.  Mincom invites individuals, groups and businesses in the industries of mining, transit and the utility sectors to submit nominations for consideration.
