On October 27, in Paris, the closing event of OneGeology-Europe will take place (http://www.onegeology-europe.org/). Experts from the Geological Surveys of Europe will explain how this innovative project can facilitate decision-making on land-use planning, and can be used to benefit the daily lives of European citizens. It aims to deliver the first ever dynamic, multilingual, internet geological map of Europe available for free, and creates the foundation for many tasks including mineral resource evaluation.
