JKTech, the technology transfer company for the Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre and the Sustainable Minerals Institute (SMI) at The University of Queensland, has opened a campus with EduMine. JKTech provides products and services in ore characterisation and process improvement within all areas of the life-of-mine cycle including geology, mining, mineral processing and sustainability. Infomine says “JKTech has partnered with EduMine to deliver worldclass online courses to a global mining audience.”
EduMine has also launched JKTech’s first online course! Practical Mineral Processing is designed for engineers, technicians, operators, support staff and others working in the mineral processing industry but with no prior training in this area. The course reviews fundamental principles, conventions and terminology, and provides a broad overview of current technical and operating issues and circuit design considerations.
