Following the recent changes at the Ministry of Mineral Resources, South Africa, it has been confirmed that His Excellency Mosebenzi Joseph Zwane will be in Cape Town in February to open the 2016 Mining Indaba.™

Delegates will hope to learn about the decisions that have been taken following the recent phakisa and what the Minister’s strategy is for keeping South Africa’s mining industry moving forward. This will be the Minister’s first public presentation to the mining industry.

He has been the Minister of Mineral Resources since September 23, 2015. He is also a Member of Parliament. Zwane is a Member of Portfolio Committee on Small Business Development (National Assembly Committees). He is also a Member of Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (National Assembly Committees).
