Matsa Resources Ltd has now formally awarded the mining services contract to Quadrio Earthmoving for the trial mining activities at the Fortitude gold project. Quadrio will commence mobilisation to site, including its infrastructure, equipment and personnel over the next few weeks with the commencement of full production expected thereafter.
Matsa continues to finalise arrangements for commencement of trial mining.
The recently acquired Lake Carey gold project includes the Fortitude gold deposit (385,300 oz, JORC 2012) covering 102km2 located in Western Australia’s prolific Laverton Tectonic Zone (LTZ) 25 km southwest of Sunrise Dam (AGA), 60 km southwest of Granny Smith (Goldfields) and 12 km southwest of the Red October (Saracen).
Ore will be hauled to a local processing plant for beneficiation.
