Managing director Stuart Walker said the giant handler would be just one of a number of innovative mining solutions and surprises on the Manitou stand. “We will also display an M50-4 rough terrain forklift, a Maniaccess elevating work platform, a Mustang skid steer loader and will preview Manitou’s underground mining solutions,” he said. Patented hydraulic cylinders and tyre handlers will also feature on the Manitou stand. “As well as all these innovations there will be a chance for visitors to win a trip for two to Minexpo 2012 in Las Vegas.”

Established in 2005, Manitou Australia is a subsidiary of Manitou BF of France, which describes itself as the world’s leading supplier of rough terrain materials handling equipment. “With a long history of innovations and one in three forklifts in the world a Manitou, we are a true specialist in materials handling and today we have the widest range of handling solutions on the market,” Walker said. “And, with our network of expert dealers we supply a wide range of safe and efficient solutions.”
