Outokumpu Technology has agreed with JSC Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant (KNFMP) for the delivery of a silver refinery installation to the world’s biggest platinum group metals (PGM) refinery in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, Russia. Under this technology transfer contract, Outokumpu Technology will supply engineering and critical silver refinery equipment. The new installation is scheduled to be in operation by the end of 2007.
