Alliance Aviation Services has signed a contract for the provision of air charter services to Agnew Gold Mining, a subsidiary of Gold Fields Ltd. The contract began on April 1, 2019, and is for a period of two years with Alliance operating eight flights per week between Perth and Leinster.

Alliance Chief Executive Officer Lee Schofield stated: “We are delighted to be providing these flights over the next two years. This contract has won through a competitive tender process and is testament to our safety record, on time performance and competitiveness in the market place.”

The company has also extended its contact with Minerals and Metals Group (MMG) for a further two years. Alliance currently provides four flights per week for MMG between Townsville and Cloncurry. The company operates a fleet of 23 Fokker F100, 10 Fokker 70LR jet aircraft and five Fokker turboprops with additional fleet units scheduled to enter service during the remainder of 2019.
