Mobilaris Mining & Civil Engineering is launching Mining Frontrunners, a podcast that highlights challenges and opportunities for the mining industry. The podcast invites business leaders, mining managers and experts to discuss the business today and what the future holds, according to the company.

“Today, our business is built on the understanding of mining companies’ reality. We know that information management systems and information-driven operations plays a key part in making mining automated,” Mikael Nyström, CEO at Mobilaris Mining and Civil Engineering, said.

“Our podcast is an ideal forum for discussing the matter with some of the mining industry’s most brilliant minds. We get to learn more and share our insights.”

Mining Frontrunners will have national as well as international guests. The first episode is live, and it’s joined by Peter Richardsson, Senior Vice President and COO at Lundin Mining. “Peter is a well-known voice in the mining industry. Just like us, he has a lot of opinions on how mines can increase productivity and safety,” says Lars-Eric Aaro, chairman of Mobilaris Group.

The podcast will be released one-to-two times per month and is available on podcast apps and the Mobilaris website. Peter Burman, Program Manager for Mine Automation at Boliden, will be the guest of the next episode of Mining Frontrunners.
