Mine slope stability monitoring major GroundProbe has released MonitorIQ® 2.0, the latest version of its single-dashboard data aggregation software that gathers and visualises all information from on-site sensors, ensuring users spend less time collecting data and more time analysing data. Through the centralisation of all monitoring data into one dashboard, users are presented with intuitive side-by-side analysis and charting, for effective identification of trends and decision-making in real-time.
Developed by the GroundProbe innovation team in Brisbane, this new release includes access to three applications in one: MonitorIQ® 2.0, SSR-Viewer 9.4 and a newly developed Alarm Centre. The company said that its customers have played an active role in the design of all three applications “resulting in an array of new features and functionality.” The fact that this functionality is accessible within MonitorIQ® 2.0, eliminates the need to switch between platforms and is starting to change the way the mining sector monitors hazardous areas and how its users make key decisions vital to the mine.
MonitorIQ aggregates data from more than 120 sensor types across multiple sites. Collected data is standardised into one simple-to-understand, uniform format streamlining previously time-consuming processes and enabling the discovery of linkages and trends. This also allows different data sets to be dragged and dropped from the exhaustive sensor list onto a single graph. It is vendor independent, able to import data from GroundProbe and Nitro Consult sensors, competitor radars and lasers, as well as GPS, satellite InSAR, total stations, piezometers, and many more. All measurements are automatically processed and stored in the MonitorIQ database.
