As of October 1, 2020, CFH Group, the owner of Compact Filter Technic (CFT) GmbH, has increased its shareholding in mining ventilation fans major Korfmann Lufttechnik GmbH to 100% from the previous 40.72% acquired in 2001. CFT is a leading supplier of ventilation, cooling/heating, methane drainage and dedusting solutions to the mining industry

“The company Korfmann Lufttechnik GmbH from Witten took over the fan construction business division of Maschinenfabrik Korfmann GmbH in 2001 and has since then specialised in the distribution and design of fans for underground use. Since 2001, all fans and silencers have been manufactured exclusively by CFT. CFT and Korfmann can therefore look back on many years of partnership.”

Since 2001, nearly 6,000 Korfmann fans have been successfully designed for mining and tunnelling and delivered worldwide. In addition, CFT and Korfmann have successfully implemented projects in the field of main mine ventilation with impeller diameters up to 3.35 m in recent years. From January 1, 2021, all sales activities in the field of ventilation will be handled via CFT.
