With the closing of FLSmidth’s acquisition of the Australian engineering and equipment supply company, Ludowici, FLSmidth has appointed Patrick Largier as the Senior Vice President and Head of the Asia-Pacific Region for the Non-Ferrous Division. He will also continue as CEO of what is now known as FLSmidth Ludowici.

Ludowici is a world leading provider of coal centrifuges, vibrating screens and complementary wear resistant products and services for the minerals industry. Previous to serving as Managing Director and CEO of Ludowici, Largier worked 15 years for Orica/ICI Australia which is based in Melbourne, Australia. During that period he led a number of Orica’s business units and divisions and was the company’s Executive general manager over strategy and acquisitions. Prior to Orica, he worked for Shell for ten years in London and South Africa.
