Mining utility vehicle major Getman Corporation has launched its new ProShot concrete spraying vehicle. Getman said ProShot represents its focus “on solutions that fulfill customer expectations and meet the demands of underground mining.” With an innovative new interior touchscreen display and three exterior screens, operators can safely control the flow of concrete product from inside or outside the vehicle.

“ProShot is a fresh idea – a concrete sprayer built using the knowledge of shotcrete experts and experienced maintenance personnel,” said Ground Support Product Manager Rick Kraft. “It’s designed for the ultra-tough rigours of underground mining and tunnelling. Based on a common-sense approach that offers excellent user interface and accessibility, ProShot is a sprayer that’s intuitive to operate and easy to maintain. Even inexperienced technicians can apply consistent, high quality layers of sprayed concrete.”

Getman offers customer-focused solutions for production and production support equipment to both mine managers and technicians. With over six decades of experience serving underground mining, Getman says it designs its equipment with extensive research and development. “The new ProShot represents our resolve to meet changing customer needs for product development,” said Getman Product Manager Christopher Warner. “Our new design meets the challenge of maintaining a balance between a manoeuverable chassis size and a layout that facilitates safe and easy daily maintenance.”
