Two Eickhoff shearer loaders of type SL300 and SL750 are about to be delivered to Inner Mongolia, increasing the company’s fleet of shearers to 27 units operating in that region only, and bringing the grand total of Eickhoff SL range shearers in China to an impressive 168. The new Eickhoff SL shearers were purchased by Linyi Coal earlier this year. Eickhoff´s new customer is targeting 30 Mt of coal production for 2012, which would be an increase of its annual coal production by an impressive 500% in just seven years. Linyi Coal is currently operating seven mines and plans to open another five over the coming years.
