NLT Digital Solutions – which describes itself as a “turnkey partner in the design, deployment and support of scalable ruggedised networks that revolutionise underground communications, collaboration and operations” and talpasolutions, the technology company which develops AI platforms for heavy industries including mining, have recently signed a co-operation agreement.
The agreement will see NLT and talpa collaborate on delivering machine and fleet data analytics solutions to complement the extensive offering of NLT to its mining clients worldwide. talpa’s ‘end-to-end’ analytics solution uses machine data to perform the assessment of activities and technical conditions of mining equipment on a high-performance, secure cloud platform and display valuable insights for various users in a friendly intuitive web interface. The partners say the new offering brings scalable infrastructure alongside full transparency of mining operations.
NLT’s N-Connex network is a simple, high-speed network designed for harsh environments such as underground metal/non-metal mines. It is fast and delivers gigabit data throughput speed, and is able to handle teleops, autonomous vehicles and video. N-Connex is also easy to maintain. If a module fails, you can plug in a spare to minimise downtime and do this with existing personnel. It is fully compatible with 802.3 and 802.11 Ethernet and Wi-Fi devices for voice, tracking, atmospheric monitoring (AMS), data and video systems. Wi-Fi solutions include voice and data support for private calls, PTT broadcasts, tablets, laptops and smartphones.
talpasolutions offers software that connects mobile heavy machinery, collects data, and translates machine data into concrete actionable insights for machine manufacturers and operators. It helps companies optimise their machine performance, reduce unplanned downtime and improve safety.
