thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions has announced the opening of its second Service Centre in Peru, expanding operations in the country and further strengthening its presence in South America. The new 13,000 m² unit is located in La Joya, in the province of Arequipa, and its addition means the company now has six Service Centres on the continent. The other Peru Service Centre is in Matarani, also in Arequipa province, while other locations include Antofagasta, Chile; and in Brazil Parauapebas and Santa Luzia.
In La Joya, the team will offer repairs, refurbishments and overhauls of major mining equipment components, including its High Pressure Grinding Roll (HPGR) technology. It also offers customers customised programs for stocking spare parts and strategic inputs, training plans and personalised technical assistance.

This can include local production of spare parts, overhaul and supply of thyssenkrupp machines and supply of OEM-quality spare parts for both thyssenkrupp machinery and equipment plus third-party machines.
