Track’em, a leader in cloud-based tracking solutions in construction, mining and oil and gas, says it is on a trajectory of solid growth, bolstering its active users on its platforms by more than 50% since the start of 2020.
This increase comes despite the situation that has evolved around COVID-19.
Track’em said: “While there is a constant focus on guarding budgets during this period, the company’s key operating metrics are showing strong results.”
Recent customer success and uptake of the latest release of its Materials Tracking platform are the driving forces behind this performance, according to the company.
The platform allows customers to manage materials and their logistics across the supply chain, according to the Perth-based company, providing project-wide visibility of construction materials and parts and digitising critical material handling processes. Designed specifically for large construction, mining, oil and gas projects, the Materials Tracking platform increases productivity and decreases project delays, Track’em claims.
These factors have seen the number of active users on Track’em’s platforms grow by 62% since the beginning of 2020, with transactions running through the software growing by 667% in 2019 alone.
Kashif Saleem, Founder and CEO of Track’em, said 2020 had taken a turn that no-one could have expected.
“With the COVID-19 outbreak, industries and countries have been turned upside down and pulled out of their normal routines,” he said. “While I regret to see so many companies struggle, Track’em is on a trajectory of growth. We have just released a new version of our Materials Tracking solution and our pipeline is looking healthy, with many new contracts already signed this year.”
This includes the company’s most recent mining-related contract with engineering firm Primero and an agreement with Mondium to track materials for construction work on large expansion projects in the resource sector in Western Australia.
