With a focus on underground mining, Cattron will display products aimed at increasing safety and productivity, including its underground communication system (SIAMnet), mining remote systems, and industrial remote systems. These systems allow operators of all types of mining equipment to choose the most advantageous, most convenient, safest position with the best vantage point from which to operate. A presentation displaying the different mining systems that the company has available on the market will be shown at the booth, along with product demonstrations that attendees can interact with. “AIMEX 2011 is one of the most important events for mining in Australia and the surrounding region, and allows Cattron to demonstrate how it leverages its extensive industry knowledge and diversity into the mining products it produces,” said Eric Brouillette, Cattron, Vice President of Marketing & Sales – Mining. “Cattron’s products incorporate reliable, high quality equipment backed by outstanding service and support. These products also provide increased safety and productivity in mines throughout the world.”

AIMEX is where more than 600 Australian and international suppliers of mining technology, equipment, and services come together with mining industry buyers and specifiers from throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Attendees are able to explore mutually beneficial business opportunities, exchange technical information, and network in an interactive business environment.

Cattron says it “has assembled the most comprehensive collection of radio remote control brands for material handling equipment, mobile equipment, and virtually any equipment where the operator can be moved to a safer, more efficient location. With 65 years of radio frequency (RF) and industrial wireless remote control experience, the company has approximately 7,000 customers with a total installed base of over 150,000 wireless remote control systems throughout the world.
