Ground Force, TowHaul expand their Australia market reach with FMS agreement

Ground Force Worldwide has announced a new partnership with Field Mining Services Group (FMS) out of Australia, with FMS set to become the official preferred distributor and service provider for all Ground Force and TowHaul products and services across the country.

Ground Force, in September 2022, announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all the assets and operations of TowHaul Corporation.

Both Ground Force and TowHaul currently have products in Australia and look forward to offering increased parts and service levels as well as growing OEM sales, they say.

Ground Force is known for, among other things, providing solutions for fuel delivery, water distribution, cable handling, road maintenance or material hauling. TowHaul, meanwhile, has an expanded range of lowboy trailers and haul truck towing equipment, capable of moving tracked and wheeled machines like dozers, shovels, graders and excavators.

Ground Force/TowHaul President, Luke Stavros, said: “Partnering with an established mining company was essential for us, and FMS Group’s ability to both sell and service Ground Force and TowHaul products will mean our Australian customers receive the high standard of service we aim for.”

FMS Group identified this partnership as a unique opportunity to diversify and offer clients a full suite of mining support equipment. Not only can all Ground Force and TowHaul products be ordered through FMS Group, but the growing company will also service and maintain the equipment, the companies say.

FMS Group Director, Jason Holt, said: “At FMS Group we have the capacity to service all equipment with our team of qualified diesel fitters and tradespeople, so customers will have a local point of contact to purchase these products and spare parts and have the reassurance of a quick and easy repair and maintenance service on standby.”
